DUSSEHRA SPECIAL ASSEMBLY (CLASSES 3 - 5) 2023
The eagerly awaited Dussehra special assembly was conducted on 21 October 2023. Students from classes 3 to 5 showcased their talents and paid tribute to this significant festival with evident zeal.
The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp lighting. Following this, a beautiful skit by students of classes 4 and 5 brought to life the journey of Lord Shri Rama. Adding to the cultural enrichment, classes 3 and 4 eloquently recited the Ek Sloki Ramayana in Sanskrit, which beautifully summarizes the entire Ramayana in a single stanza.
A soulful musical segment was next, with students from class 3 serenading the audience with “Ram ji ki Nikli Sawari, Ram ji ki Leela hai Nyari.” This was complemented by an evocative instrumental performance of "Ram Siya Ram" by the students of classes 4 and 5.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the vibrant dance performance set to the tunes of “Ram Siya Ram” and “Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hain,” where students from classes 3 to 5 danced with synchronized grace.
Respected Chairman Sir delivered an inspiring speech in which he discussed the Ram Charitra Manas. He highlighted how it guides us in societal behaviour and the conduct of an individual.
The honourable guest, Shri Bhagwan Das Ji, emphasized the esteemed position of women in Indian culture, where they are considered as goddesses and seen as incarnations of Shakti. He elaborated on how Navratri is a celebration of all nine forms of Shakti. Furthermore, he discussed the Ramayana and the invaluable lessons it imparts. Shri Bhagwan Das Ji also stressed the importance of environmental preservation and the promotion of Indian goods."
The event ended with the soulful rendition of Shri Ram Stuti and Aarti by Mrs. Yog Jyoti. As a final act of devotion, the teachers, accompanied by Respected Chairman Mr. Arun Sharma, Honourable guest Shri Bhagwan Das Ji, Director Mrs. Ayushi and Principal Mrs. Puri performed the sacred aarti.
Ravan Dahan was also done in school premises, where students burned away their three bad habits.
