                THE EDUCATIONAL VISIT

The Pre- Primary wing of Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden arranged an Educational visit to the Zoo on 12th February. The aim was to introduce pre-primary kids to the world of animals, fostering curiosity and sensory exploration while promoting early learning about wildlife. The children were very eager and excited to see different animals with their young ones in their habitat. The little ones got so engrossed in observing their natural habitats and characteristics, that convincing each one of them to go back was one heck of a task. They all became so fond of their surroundings that none of them wanted to leave the place. During the journey back to school in bus, tiny tots shared their observations taken during the field trip.
In true sense, this visit to the zoo helped our students co-relate the concepts they had been learning in class room with real life experiences gathered at the zoo.

The selected storybook, "Mottainai Grandma", effectively conveyed the significance of handling items with care, promoting the ethos of Mottainai. Mottainai, a Japanese expression that reflects the regret felt, when usable items are needlessly discarded or wasted.

The program commenced with the storytelling session and captivated the audience with the narrative of "Mottainai Grandma". In the end, a Q&A session ensued, addressing basic environmental issues. The session concluded with smiles adorning the faces of the students, reflecting their engagement and appreciation for the informative and delightful experience.
