GLOBAL MILLETS EXHIBITION 

Based on India’s proposal, the year 2023 is declared the International Year of Millets by the United Nations General Assembly. Honourable Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Global Millets Conference held at NASC Complex, IARI Campus, PUSA, New Delhi on 18 March, 2023.

Students of Class 10 ABC along with their teachers visited the Exhibition Hall wherein all the Central government Ministries and departments, states and union territories, farmers, start ups, exporters, retail businessmen and other stakeholders were engaged to promote and spread awareness about the benefits of millets for the cultivator, consumer and climate. There were more than 100 stalls which showcased millets and millet based ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products and live cooking session by various international and national chefs.

It was a very informative and educative visit for the teachers and students.

    STAFF PICNIC 2023

    After a long and formidable session, an exhilarating school picnic is what everyone looks forward to. Like every year, this year Arwachin International School organized the staff picnic to Noida Haat and Chokhi Haveli, Noida. All the members were thrilled for such a fabulous day out. 

    Apart from relaxation and enjoyment the picnic also aimed at building up team spirit among the members of the staff. The day started with a delicious breakfast at school followed by a grand fun in school buses. The journey to the destination was an enjoyable one.

    Everybody first visited Noida Haat for a fabulous shopping. Saras Aajeevika Mela 2023 was the main attraction for one and all there. The vibrant market here offered a fantastic, unique and diverse shopping experience to all. It had a wide range of handicrafts, including pottery, paintings, textiles and sculptures, all of which were made by skilled artisans from across India. Then everyone went to Chokhi Haveli, which is a village themed Cultural Centre to give the visitors a real taste and feel of traditional Indian village hospitality. It’s a colourful, quirky place that left everyone awe-struck with their traditional activities and unlimited sumptuous food.

    Everybody was enthralled by a bunch of fun-filled activities like pottery, live performances, magic and puppet shows, mehndi art and astrology too. Happy and cheerful faces could be seen around after exploring the culinary wonders of India. All in all, it was a fun-filled day for everyone looking forward to the next one very soon.
