The session was conducted by the distinguished experts—Mr. Deepak Ola and Mr. Tushar Singh from the Delhi Fire Service, along with Mr. Viresh Chander Singh from the Education Academy.

The workshop began with a formal note welcome, followed by an introduction to the emergency helpline number and correct procedures for reporting a fire. Through real-life case studies and videos, students learned about fire hazards, the prevention methods, and the survival techniques in smoke-filled environment.

A significant highlight was the training on crowd safety and stampede prevention, including the ‘Turtle Position’ and techniques to create a breathing pocket during overcrowding. Practical rescue methods were demonstrated through role play, showcasing single-rescuer and group ‘human chair’ techniques.

The Students were also introduced to key emergency frameworks—R.A.C.E.and P.A.S.S.via a PowerPoint presentation. The workshop concluded with live demonstrations of the use of fire extinguisher use and the wet bedsheet method to smother fires.
