 Arwachin International School Shines at Zonal Solo Classical Dance Competition. The School brought laurels to the institution with an outstanding performance at the Zonal Solo Classical Dance Competition, held on 27 July 2026 at Queen Global International School.

Report on Class Assembly   

Kargil Vijay Diwas

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the students of Class XI C and XI D conducted the interactive assembly on 27th July 2026 to pay tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Kargil War.

The assembly commenced with a prayer followed by an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the extraordinary courage, patriotism, and dedication displayed by the soldiers in safeguarding the nation's borders. The students also presented a heartfelt patriotic poem and a thought-provoking skit depicting the valour and sacrifices of the armed forces, reminding everyone of the true spirit of nationalism and selfless service. Last but not the least the students presented a patriotic group dance that filled the atmosphere with pride and gratitude.

The programme concluded with the words of appreciation by the coordinator. She commended the sincere efforts of the students and emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of our soldiers while upholding the values of patriotism, unity, and responsibility in our daily lives. The assembly was a meaningful and memorable tribute, inspiring everyone to cherish the freedom secured through the courage and sacrifice of our armed forces.

Interactive Class Assembly on SDG 14 – Life Below Water

The students of Class VA presented an engaging and thought-provoking interactive class assembly centred around Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14 – Life Below Water, themed "Say No to Plastic." The assembly aimed to spread awareness about protecting marine ecosystems and promoting responsible environmental practices.

The programme commenced with the Morning Prayer, setting a positive tone for the day. This was followed by a vibrant dance performance based on the theme "Say No to Plastic," which delivered a powerful message about reducing plastic pollution and protecting aquatic life.

The highlight of the assembly was an interactive role play in which students represented India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. Through the roles of tourists, environmentalists, and local citizens, they highlighted the harmful effects of increasing tourism on marine ecosystems, including plastic waste and damage to coral reefs. The performance also encouraged everyone to adopt sustainable practices to conserve our oceans.

The students then presented a soulful song on protecting marine life, reinforcing the importance of protecting marine biodiversity.

The assembly also marked the celebration of World Elephant Day. An awareness video was screened, following which students wearing elephant masks took a pledge to protect elephants and conserve their natural habitats.

The programme concluded with an inspiring Teacher Talk on "Being a Good Listener," emphasizing the importance of attentive listening as an essential life skill. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.

The assembly beautifully integrated environmental awareness, creativity, and values, inspiring everyone to contribute towards a cleaner planet and a sustainable future.

SCHOLAR’S DAY 2026: CELEBRATION OF MERIT AND MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENTS

Scholar’s Day was celebrated with great pride at Arwachin International School on 25th July 2026, honouring the meritorious students of the academic session 2025–26. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by soulful renditions of Saraswati Vandana and Shiv Stuti, setting a divine tone for the day. 

The distinguished presence of Advocate Vijay Bhargav as the Chief Guest and Mr. Sumeet Dogra, renowned cricket coach and commentator, as the Guest of Honour, added immense grace to the occasion. The event was further blessed by the presence of Mr. Sharma, the Chairman, Mr. Akshat Sharma, the Director, Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar, the Principal, and Mrs. Aayushi Sharma, the Vice Principal. 

The students excelling in academics, cultural pursuits, sports, and all-round achievements were felicitated amidst applause, with proud parents witnessing the glory. The celebration unfolded in three segments—cultural brilliance, academic excellence, and achievers at state, national, and international levels. Adding inspiration, alumni shared heartfelt messages, while Ms. Komal Mavi (UPSC achiever) and Mr. Parth (Pilot) graced the stage, embodying the school’s values.  Their words encouraged students to dream big, persevere and strive for excellence. 

The event concluded with inspiring speeches by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and the Chairman, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks from the Principal. The event concluded on a triumphant note, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence and holistic growth. The day ended with happy smiles and proud hearts, as parents and students carried home memories of excellence and inspiration.

UKG-B   Interactive Assembly

A lively and  interactive assembly on the theme “Love for our country” was conducted by the students of UKG-Bluebell on 23^rdJuly  2026. . The stage was graced by the presence of Hon. Principal Mam and Coordinator Mam. The program began with a warm welcome, followed by the thought of the Day and a short news update.

The students were beautifully dressed as India's real heroes, including soldiers, farmers, doctors, teachers, police officers, and scientists, showcasing their valuable contributions to the nation.

The student presented a foot tapping patriotic dance on the song that ended with the slogan, "Jai Hind!"The assembly also included an interactive quiz related to the theme.

The assembly concluded with words of appreciation from the Coordinator mam who praised the students and teachers for their confident presentations, creativity, and the important message they conveyed.

The assembly aimed to encourage patriotism and love for the country. It was a memorable and inspiring presentation by the students of UKG Bluebell.

Investiture Ceremony 2026–27

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 was conducted with great pride, dignity, and enthusiasm at Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden on 22^nd July 2026. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Students Council, symbolising the school's commitment to nurture leadership, responsibility, and service among its students.

The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal, invoking the blessings of knowledge and wisdom. The newly elected members of the Student Council, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice House Captains, Sports Captains, Cultural Secretary, Discipline Secretary, and other office bearers, were formally invested with badges and sashes, signifying the trust and confidence reposed in them by the school..

A solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony followed, where the student leaders pledged to uphold the values and ethos of the school, perform their responsibilities with honesty and commitment, and lead by example. The newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl and Sports Captain addressed the gathering and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the school management, teachers, and fellow students for placing their faith in them. They assured everyone of their commitment to working diligently, promoting teamwork, and inspiring their peers to achieve excellence in every sphere.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Principal. The Investiture Ceremony was a memorable occasion that celebrated leadership, responsibility, and the spirit of service. It inspired the newly elected Students Council to embark on their journey with confidence and dedication while motivating all students to strive for excellence and contribute positively to the school community.                     Inter-House Social Science Competition (Classes VI–VIII)

The Social Science Department organised the Inter-House Social Science Competition for Classes VI–VIII on 20th July 2026. Students enthusiastically participated in theme-based activities—Class VI created Ancient Jewellery using clay, learning about archaeological sources and ancient civilisations; Class VII made posters on Swachhata Pakhwada, spreading awareness about cleanliness and responsible citizenship; and Class VIII showcased Tribal Art of India through Toda Pukhoor and Gond art, gaining an appreciation of India's rich tribal heritage and the need to preserve traditional art forms.

The competition promoted creativity, teamwork and reinforced experiential learning by connecting classroom concepts with creative application.

 Awareness Programme on Child Safety under POCSO

A POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) awareness session was conducted at Arwachin International School on 17 July 2026 for the students of Classes VI to VIII. During the session, the teacher showed an educational video explaining the concepts of good touch and bad touch in a simple and age-appropriate manner.

After the video, the teacher discussed the importance of understanding personal safety, respecting personal boundaries, and recognizing inappropriate behaviour. Students were encouraged to speak to their parents, teachers, or any trusted adult if they ever felt uncomfortable or unsafe. The teacher also emphasized that every child has the right to feel safe and protected.

The session was informative and helped students become more aware of their rights and the importance of reporting any inappropriate behaviour without fear. It was a meaningful initiative that promoted awareness about child safety and well-being among the students.

   A JOURNEY OF LEARNING AND JOY: AIS ATTENDS HT LITFEST PREVIEW           

Students of Arwachin International School recently embarked on a highly enriching and vibrant literary journey by participating in the prestigious HT LitFest Preview 2026 on 15 July 2026. Organised by the Hindustan Times, the grand event was hosted beautifully at Bal Bhavan Public School, Mayur Vihar, Phase-II. The young and enthusiastic minds from Arwachin were carefully escorted by their English teacher, Mrs. Prabhjyot Kaur, ensuring a safe, organised, and deeply educational excursion for everyone involved.

The meticulously planned festival offered tailor-made creative experiences designed to cater to different age groups and intellectual interests. The middle school students, spanning from Classes 6 to 8, became part of an incredibly immersive and captivating storytelling session. This wonderful session was conducted by Ms. Simi Shrivastava, a renowned master storyteller who used her exceptional dramatic skills, animated expressions, and powerful narratives to completely spark the children's imaginations and leave them absolutely spellbound.

Simultaneously, a select group of five senior students from Classes 9 to 12 were given the unique privilege of attending a high-level author interaction session with the distinguished writer, Ms. Mariyam Fatema. This intimate dialogue allowed the senior students to delve deep into the complex nuances of professional writing, character development, and the creative processes that drive contemporary literature, proving to be an immense source of inspiration for aspiring young writers.

Towards the close of the day, the workshop reached its grand finale with a dynamic 'Rhythmshala' session conducted by the talented Mr. Ankur Sharan. This high-energy musical jam session proved to be absolutely rejuvenating, filling the hall with vibrant rhythm and instantly relieving the students of all their academic stress and exhaustion. Ultimately, the entire event served as a monumental platform for great learning, broadening the creative horizons of all participating Arwachinians.

ZONAL GROUP FOLK DANCE COMPETITION                                  

The Zonal Group Folk Dance Competition was held on 10 July 2026 at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Dilshad Garden. Students of Arwachin International School participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their talent through colourful folk dance performances.

The girls' team presented a graceful Uttarakhandi folk dance, while the boys' team performed an energetic Gujarati folk dance. Both performances were highly appreciated by the judges for their coordination, expression, and stage presence.

Both the girls' and boys' teams secured Third Position in their respective categories. The school congratulates all the participants and their mentors on this wonderful achievement and wishes them continued success.

                                                         Career Counselling Workshop

A Career Counseling Workshop was conducted for the students of Classes XI and XII on 10th July 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Vineet Vaidya, a career counselor with over 15 years of experience in education, who has worked with Career Launcher, Pearson VUE, and Pratham.

Mr. Vaidya guided students on choosing the right career based on their interests, aptitude, and future opportunities. The interactive session encouraged students to ask questions and gain clarity about higher education and career planning. The workshop was highly informative and beneficial for all participants.

French Assembly Report

French Assembly was conducted on 9^th July, 2026 with enthusiastic participation from students of Classes III to V on the topic “The Bastille Day”. The assembly began with the Thought of the Day presented in French and English, followed by an engaging French conversation based on a restaurant scenario, showcasing students’ speaking skills and confidence. Students of Class III delighted the audience with a lively French song. The assembly concluded with an informative video highlighting how people celebrate Bastille Day and interesting facts on this day, helping students connect language learning with culture and global awareness. The presentation was informative, interactive, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

At the end of the assembly, teacher's talk was conducted on Zoonoses day by Mrs. Deepshikha Ghosh and on Jagannath Rath Yatra by Mrs. Sheetal Yadav. The session was interactive, with children actively participating, answering questions confidently, and demonstrating a good understanding of both topics.

Van Mahotsav Celebration (Primary classes)

Arwachin International School celebrated Van Mahotsav on 7th July 2026 with a series of engaging activities for Classes III to V, promoting environmental awareness and conservation.

Class III students installed the bird feeders they had prepared during the summer holidays and filled them with grains and water to support local birds. Class IV students participated in 'Hug a Tree – Promise to Protect Nature',  by tying eco-friendly threads around trees, hugging them, and taking a pledge to protect the environment. Class V students expressed their creativity through a Poster Making Activity on themes such as 'Save Trees, Save Life', 'Trees – Nature's Greatest Gift', and 'Environmental Heroes', highlighting the importance of trees and environmental conservation. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation and successfully inspired students to adopt eco-friendly practices and become responsible guardians of nature.

INTERACTIVE ASSEMBLY ON VAN MAHOTSAV

An interactive assembly on the theme Van Mahotsav was conducted by Class VII D on 4 July 2026. The programme began with an informative speech highlighting the importance of trees and environmental conservation. It was followed by a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak to spread awareness about protecting nature. A meaningful poem and energetic slogans inspired everyone to contribute towards a greener environment followed by a colourful dance performance based on the theme ‘Nature’. The programme was well-organised, informative, and engaging. The efforts of the students were highly appreciated by the Principal, Mrs Ruchira Bhatnagar, who praised their confidence, creativity and teamwork.
