by Ritsumeikan University for Full merit Scholarship
The Japanese language Students of classes 9 to
12 attended a seminar on higher studies in Japan, on 10th December,
2015 at the Japan foundation, New Delhi. The seminar was about the full merit
based scholarships offered by Ritsumeikan University specifically to the
students with Indian Nationalities (Including tuition fee for 4 years, living
expenses and air ticket to Japan).
They briefed our students regarding the two English
medium undergraduate programmes currently offered by the university.
1.
The Community
and Regional Policy Studies major (CRPS) in the College of Policy Science,
focuses on identifying solutions to major issues faced by the society we are
living in.
2.
Global Studies major (GS) in the college of
International Relations, Students learn to analyze global affairs from a
multidisciplinary perspective.
It was a very interactive session as our students
not only enquired about the courses offered By Ritsumeikan University but also
asked about the living standards and lifestyle of Japan. Students talked at
length with the coordinators about their concerns and apprehensions related to
their stay and studies in Japan.
The students came back motivated and showed immense
interest in considering Japan as a prospective destination to pursue their
higher studies.
