First Aid Training
On 6thAugust 2022, a training program on First Aid was conducted by Ms. Vaishali Gupta from Metro Hospital. All the teachers of Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden attended the training.
There was a need to train the teachers in first aid skills as they are the primary contact for most common emergencies in school scenarios.
Ms. Gupta focused that each child must have a small first aid kit in their bag. She also briefed how first aid should be given in different situations. She explained about 3Ps, which need to be kept in mind while giving first aid. They were Preserve, Prevent, and Promote. She further discussed in detail about the kind of first aid that should be given in case of choking, burns, bleeding, and heat strokes.
At the end of the training, everyone felt better equipped to help children suffering from accidents or sudden illnesses.
The training program was very beneficial for the teachers as it prepared them for any unfortunate event.
