                  INTERACTIVE ASSEMBLY

The students of Class 2B conducted an Interactive Assembly on the topic—‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ on 14th September 2026. The assembly began with the Thought of the Day and News Headlines.

The students presented a beautiful English poem and Hindi poem dedicated to Lord Ganesha, spreading the message of wisdom, kindness and devotion. They performed a meaningful skit highlighting the importance of Lord Ganesha’s teachings and the values of being wise, humble and helpful. The assembly also included a joyful dance performance celebrating the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi.

        An interactive teacher talk engaged the students through interesting questions about Lord Ganesha, his family, favourite sweet, vahana and the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi. The discussion also highlighted the importance of using eco-friendly idols and caring for the environment.

At the end of the assembly, our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Bhatnagar and respected Coordinator Ma’am, Ms. Sharma addressed the students. Their encouraging and inspiring words motivated the children to continue learning, embrace the values of wisdom and kindness to celebrate the festival responsibly.

    Japanese Language Workshop by JALSTA

    A workshop titled “Let’s Incorporate Culture in Our Classrooms” was organized on 12th  September, 2026, by JALSTA, with the support of the Japan Foundation, New Delhi, at the Japan Foundation, New Delhi. Mrs. Vandana Jain, Japanese Language Teacher at Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden, actively participated in the event.

    The session began with an introduction to the theme and an overview of the session flow by Mr. Ken Yano, Japanese Language Advisor at the Japan Foundation, New Delhi.

    This was followed by a hands-on session conducted by the team of Nihongo Partners, featuring engaging demonstrations of two traditional Japanese games, Kendama and Bunbun-goma. Under their guidance, participating teachers creatively designed their own versions of these games while exploring practical strategies for integrating cultural activities into Japanese language classes.

    Overall, the workshop provided an enjoyable, enriching, and hands-on learning experience, equipping educators with valuable ideas and practical approaches to connect Japanese language instructions with Japanese culture.

      GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION [10.9.26]

      The Foundation Wing of Arwachin International School organised a special Grandparents’ Day celebration on 10 September 2026 to honour the love, wisdom, and invaluable contribution of grandparents in the lives of children. The event was filled with warmth, joy, and memorable moments, bringing grandparents, students, and teachers together in a spirit of celebration.

      The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the beginning of a day filled with happiness, positivity, and togetherness. The ceremony set a warm and graceful tone for the celebrations.

      The students then presented a beautiful song dedicated to their beloved grandparents. The melodious performance was filled with love and affection.

      The celebration continued with an engaging storytelling session, where grandparents shared interesting stories and experiences with the children. The session created a beautiful bond between generations and encouraged students to listen, learn, and appreciate the richness of their grandparents’ experiences.

      A talent show was then organised, providing grandparents with an opportunity to showcase their wonderful talents. Their performances were warmly appreciated by the students and teachers. This was followed by an exciting ramp walk, in which the grandparents participated with great enthusiasm, confidence, and grace. Their cheerful participation made the event lively and enjoyable for everyone.

      The students added to the festivities with a delightful dance performances dedicated to their beloved grandparents. Their energetic and heart warming performance filled the atmosphere with joy and brought smiles and applause from the audience.

      The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to all the grandparents for their enthusiastic participation and valuable contribution towards making the event a grand success.

        Living the Bhagavad Gita Way

        A meaningful and insightful session on “Living the Bhagavad Gita Way” was conducted at Arwachin International School on 7 September 2026. The school welcomed Dr. Nidhi Rastogi, an accomplished educationist holding M.Sc., M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees from Delhi University, as the resource person.

        The session focused on understanding how the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita can be applied to our everyday lives. Dr. Rastogi explained how the teachings of the Gita can help individuals deal with confusion, challenges and difficult situations with greater clarity, balance and positivity.

        Through her engaging interaction, she highlighted the importance of performing one’s duties sincerely, remaining calm in challenging situations, developing self-discipline and focusing on the right action rather than worrying excessively about the outcome. The session encouraged the participants to reflect on their thoughts, actions and responses to various situations in life.

        The session was highly enriching and provided valuable insights into incorporating the principles of the Bhagavad Gita into our personal and professional lives. It concluded with a renewed understanding that ancient wisdom can serve as a practical guide for leading a more balanced, purposeful and harmonious life.

          INTER-HOUSE COMPUTER VIDEO MAKING COMPETITION

          An Inter-House Computer Video Making Competition was organized at Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden, for the students of Classes IX and X. The competition aimed to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical skills, teamwork, and ability to communicate ideas effectively through digital media.

          The participants created and presented videos using various computer applications and digital editing tools. The activity encouraged students to think creatively, plan their content, collaborate with their teammates, and make effective use of technology.

          The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students. The participants demonstrated originality, creativity, and technical proficiency while preparing their videos. Their efforts reflected their confidence in using digital tools and their ability to present ideas in an engaging manner. The results for the competition are as follows: -

            SPELL WELL COMPETITION – CLASSES I & II

            The final round of Spell Well Competition for Classes I and II was conducted on 1st September 2026 with the aim of developing and encouraging correct spelling, vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence among young learners.

            The competition was conducted in different stages. Round 1 was conducted for the entire class, through dictation. Based on their performance, a few students were shortlisted for the next round. After conducting the second round, two participants from each section were selected for the final round.

            The Final Round was conducted in four exciting levels:

             Identify and Spell the word , Complete the Spelling , Picture Perfect , and Rapid fire.

            All the participants displayed enthusiasm, confidence, and good vocabulary  throughout the competition. The final winners were selected on the basis of their overall performance in all the four rounds.

            The competition provided the children with an enjoyable opportunity to enhance their vocabulary, improve their spelling skills, and develop confidence while participating in a healthy and competitive environment.
