Phonics Training Workshop

From 20 May’25 to 22 May’25 a three-day phonics training workshop was conducted by Ms. Natasha Sharma and Mrs. Priya Pathak  for teachers handling classes from Pre-Primary to Grade 8. The workshop aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding and delivery of phonics instruction across different age groups.

Ms. Sharma covered key areas including phonemic awareness, blending and segmenting, sound-letter correspondence, and effective decoding strategies. She also emphasized upon the tricks that can assist young learners in becoming fluent and independent readers. The sessions were interactive, hands-on, and tailored to suit a wide range of classroom needs.

Teachers actively participated in practical exercises and discussions, gaining valuable tools and techniques to strengthen students’ reading and spelling skills. The workshop was well-received and appreciated for its clarity, relevance, and engaging delivery.
