"FAITH IS A VERY IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTE TO POSITIVE THINKING"

The Pre- Primary children of Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden,

went on an educational trip to religious places - Gurudwara, Temple, Mosque and Church on 19th & 20th of January, 2023

We all know that without faith, it becomes very difficult to keep pushing through the intricate state of affairs. Only faith gives us the inner strength, a sense of balance and a perspective in life.

The trip to the religious places was a brief introduction of the tiny tots to faith in different places and with different names. The children learned about the religions, other than their own and saw how to worship at these places. They also learned that, to enter the House of the 'Almighty' - Gurudwara, Temple, Mosque and Church, we first need to take our shoes off. They saw how prayers are done in these places and enjoyed the visit to every place of worship.

It was a great learning experience for the little ones and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

                    Mrs. Chauhan

Report of the visit to Metro Mall

An educational trip to the Metro Mall, Seelampur, was organized for the students of class 4 on 19 January, 2023. The aim of the trip was to bridge the curriculum with the life experience so that students could apply their knowledge in real life situation. They were given a worksheet which included two questions each from Maths, E.V.S and English, related to the trip. Students, in groups, explored the mall and looked for the items mentioned in the worksheet to solve the given mathematical sums on their own. They came to know about the cost of different items and learnt about the concept of recyclability. They wrote different kinds of sentences related to the items available  there.

They not only gained knowledge but also improved their interpersonal and communication skills. Refreshments were also given to the students.

                        REPORT ON STORY TELLING COMPETITION

“After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.”

Storytelling is the art of narrating or unfolding the narratives of a story. It has been a part of our culture and tradition for centuries or we can say from many civilizations. Stories give wings to our imagination and storytelling has been an integral part of our childhood. To keep the tradition going and to build the confidence and speaking skills in children,  storytelling competition of our tiny tots was organized at Arwachin International School  on 18th January 2023

The children from classes LKG and UKG participated in the competition and performed spectacularly. They narrated their favourite stories with awesome props, actions, voice modulation, and impressive expressions which impressed the judges very much.

The competition was judge by- Mrs. Priya Pathak, Ms. Harshita Kwatra and Ms. Natasha Sharma.

The occasion was graced by our Principal Mrs. Nair with her presence. She praised the children and the teachers for their efforts to make the show successful.

The program ended with the National Anthem.
