                                                      Swachh Bharat Sunder Bharat

An interactive assembly was organized on 3rd August 2026 on the topic "Swachh Bharat, Sunder Bharat" by the students of class VII A. The purpose of the assembly was to spread awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and civic responsibility among students and to encourage them to contribute towards building a clean and beautiful India. The assembly was full of energy and active student participation.

The assembly began with an inspiring thought:"Cleanliness is next to Godliness".  It emphasized that personal and public cleanliness is the foundation of a healthy society. It was followed by Nukkad Natak. Students presented a powerful street play and showed how small habits like using dustbins, avoiding plastic, and community participation can transform our surroundings. The message was delivered with humour and was well received by all.

A beautiful poem titled "Mera Swachh Bharat" was recited by the students. The poem beautifully described how clean streets, green trees, and safe drinking water make our country beautiful and proud .A group dance was performed on patriotic music.

A PPT presentation was shown on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It covered the objectives of the mission, key initiatives by the government, and the role of students in making the campaign successful. Important points like "Start from home", "Reduce plastic", and "3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" were highlighted. An interactive quiz was conducted at the end. Students participated enthusiastically and answered questions related to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, waste management, and hygiene. A pledge was taken by all to keep themselves, their school, and their surroundings clean

Overall it was an impactful assembly that helped students understand that cleanliness is not just a duty of the government, but a responsibility of every citizen.
