ANOTHER FEATHER ON THE CAP OF ARWACIANIANS

The students of Class XII of Arwachin International School achieved excellent results in the AISSCE Examination 2025-26, bringing pride and joy to the school community. Total 114 students appeared for the board examinations. Granth Maheshwari (Science stream) has performed remarkably by scoring 96.8%, followed by Abhinav Garg (Science stream) securing 96% and Bhavya Jain (Humanities stream) 95.8%. Keshav Gupta (Commerce stream) secured 93.2%.. 15 students have scored above 90%. 64 students have scored above 80% in aggregate.

The total number of distinctions is 394.

    Capacity Building Programme on Disaster Management

    A Capacity Building Programme on Disaster Management was organized by the CBSE, Centre of Excellence for Teachers (COE), on 5th May, 2026, which was attended by Mrs. Manisha Sen and Ms. Heena Parveen at The Mother’s International School, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi, and was led by resource persons Ms. Moninder Pal Kaur and Ms. Ameesha Gaur.

    The programme began with a briefing on the mental health of both students and teachers,

    highlighting its risks and impact on an individual’s life. This was followed by a discussion on various mini-disasters and maxi-disasters, along with the need for school-level preparedness to effectively manage such situations.

    Subsequently, participants received training on preparing a School Disaster Management Plan (SDMP) and worked in groups to draft a plan addressing potential school-based disasters and the steps required to manage them. Each session was interactive, ensuring that learning was practical and skill-based.

    The CBP served as an effective platform where awareness was translated into action, equipping both teachers and students to contribute towards building disaster-resilient schools.

      Special Assembly by Class 1C

      A special assembly was conducted by Class 1C on 5th May 2026 on the theme Mother’s Day. The assembly was organized to celebrate the unconditional love, care and sacrifices of mothers.

      The children expressed their love and affection for their mothers through a heartwarming skit, beautiful poems and energetic dance performances. Their confidence, enthusiasm and innocent expressions made the presentation even more special and memorable.

      All the students performed gracefully on the stage and showcased their talent with great excitement. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances and appreciated the efforts of the children.

      The presence of Principal Ma’am Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar added grace to the occasion. She appreciated the students for their wonderful performances and encouraged them to always respect and love their mothers.

      The special assembly concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving everyone with smiles and heartfelt emotions.

        Report on Interactive Assembly on Cultures of India

        An engaging and informative interactive assembly on the theme Cultures of India was presented by the students of classes 12 C & D, to celebrate the rich diversity and unity of our nation. The assembly aimed to sensitize students to India’s cultural heritage while also integrating awareness about responsible citizenship.

        The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a brief introduction highlighting India’s multicultural identity. The highlight of the assembly was a musical skit, including dance performances which depicted the harmony among different states, languages, and traditions of India, conveying the message of unity in diversity effectively. It was followed by a comprehensive video and speech presentation the students apprising the audience about our different harvest festivals.

        To make the assembly more engaging, an interactive quiz was conducted. Students actively participated and answered questions related to Indian festivals, languages, monuments, and traditions. The quiz not only tested their knowledge but also enhanced their awareness in a fun and competitive manner.

        An insightful teacher talk on consumer awareness was given by by Mr. Tarun Gautam . The teacher highlighted the importance of being informed consumers, understanding rights and responsibilities,.

        The assembly concluded with a message reinforcing the idea that India’s diversity is its strength and that awareness, respect, and responsibility are essential for a progressive society.
