The students of Class 1B conducted an Interactive Assembly on the topic – ‘ My Family’ on May 13, 2026.

The assembly commenced with the Thought of the Day, inspiring everyone with positive values and motivation. This was followed by the presentation of the latest news headlines and an informative weather forecast, which enhanced the students’ awareness about current affairs and environmental conditions.

The highlight of the assembly was a meaningful play on the importance of family, where students beautifully portrayed the values of love, care, respect, and togetherness within a family. The students also recited a delightful rhyme, adding charm and joy to the presentation through their expressive actions and clear voices.

Adding more excitement to the assembly, the class presented a vibrant dance performance, which was appreciated by everyone for its energy and coordination.

The assembly concluded with an inspiring teacher’s talk, emphasizing the importance of family values, unity, and gratitude towards loved ones. Our respected Coordinator Ms. Natasha Sharma appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, applauding the confidence, creativity, and teamwork displayed throughout the assembly.

Overall, the assembly was informative, entertaining, and successful in delivering a valuable message to all.

ANOTHER FEATHER ON THE CAP OF ARWACIANIANS

The students of Class XII of Arwachin International School achieved excellent results in the AISSCE Examination 2025-26, bringing pride and joy to the school community. Total 114 students appeared for the board examinations. Granth Maheshwari (Science stream) has performed remarkably by scoring 96.8%, followed by Abhinav Garg (Science stream) securing 96% and Bhavya Jain (Humanities stream) 95.8%. Keshav Gupta (Commerce stream) secured 93.2%.. 15 students have scored above 90%. 64 students have scored above 80% in aggregate.

The total number of distinctions is 394.

ARWACHIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL  MATE Counselors’ Conclave 

Arwachin International School proudly participated in the MATE Counselors’ Conclave held on 9 May 2026, organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences at the India Habitat Centre. The conclave marked the expansion of Project MATE (Mind Activation Through Education), an adolescent wellbeing initiative developed by the Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS New Delhi.

The school was honoured to be selected among 10 schools to present a poster presentation as part of the “Wellbeing Practices Gallery Walk”, showcasing the school’s initiatives and practices promoting student wellbeing. Our students, Iram (XII-D) and Kanav Sharma (XII-C), presented the poster confidently and received citations for their participation and valuable contribution during the event.

Special Educator Ms. Megha Sharma and School Counsellor Ms. Khushi represented the school at the conclave and attended insightful sessions focused on the emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing of students. The programme provided a valuable platform for educators and counsellors to collaborate, share experiences, and strengthen school wellbeing practices.

LEARNING BEYOND BOUNDARIES: CLASS IX & XI EXCURSION 

Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden organized an enriching educational trip on

8th May 2026 for the students of Class IX and XI to two prominent cultural and historical institutions of Delhi – Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. The students were accompanied by their respective class teachers, ensuring guidance and supervision throughout the day.

At Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya, the students explored the lives, contributions, and legacies of India’s Prime Ministers. Through interactive exhibits, multimedia presentations, and archival displays, they gained valuable insights into the nation’s political history and leadership journey.

On the other side, students of  Class XI proceeded to the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, where they immersed themselves into the world of contemporary and modern Indian art. The museum’s diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and installations sparked curiosity and creativity among the young learners, encouraging them to appreciate art as a powerful medium of expression.

The trip was not only educational but also inspiring, as it broadened the horizons of the students by connecting them with India’s rich heritage and vibrant artistic culture. The teachers ensured that the students engaged meaningfully with the exhibits, making the excursion both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating.

                                                                INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Date:  7 May 2026

The school held its solemn Investiture Ceremony on May 7, 2026, to officially induct the new student council. The event commenced with Mrs. Bhatnagar conferring badges upon the elected leaders, led by the Wing Ambassadors, Vaani Kaushik (8B) and Rudra (8A). This was followed by the appointment of student heads for the Literary, Cultural, and Sports departments. A dedicated group of Discipline Incharges from both the Middle Wing and the Preparatory Wing were also pinned with their badges of office, signifying their commitment to maintaining the school's high standards.

Following the investiture, the Oath-Taking Ceremony took place where the council members pledged to serve the institution with integrity and dedication. The proceedings were enriched by an inspiring address from Mrs. Bhatnagar, who shared valuable insights on the essence of leadership.

Story Telling and Debate Competition

Class 3-4 and Class 5 (Debate)

“ Stories give wings to our imagination and take us beyond the boundaries of the physical world.”

A competition is the best way to build the confidence of a student. Keeping this in mind a ‘Story Telling competition’ was conducted for grades 3, 4 and Debate competition for class 5 at Arwachin International School on 6^th May 2026. The young enthusiastic story tellers with their beautiful props came forth with their wonderful tales. The young minds got an opportunity to get evolved with various valuable morals, which also ignited their creative skills. The stories were judged on the basis of expression, confidence, diction and presentation skills of the children by Mrs Prabhjyot Kaur and Mrs Priya Pathak. The little wonders left no stone unturned in presenting their stories.

Special Assembly by Class 1C

A special assembly was conducted by Class 1C on 5th May 2026 on the theme Mother’s Day. The assembly was organized to celebrate the unconditional love, care and sacrifices of mothers.

The children expressed their love and affection for their mothers through a heartwarming skit, beautiful poems and energetic dance performances. Their confidence, enthusiasm and innocent expressions made the presentation even more special and memorable.

All the students performed gracefully on the stage and showcased their talent with great excitement. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances and appreciated the efforts of the children.

The presence of Principal Ma’am Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar added grace to the occasion. She appreciated the students for their wonderful performances and encouraged them to always respect and love their mothers.

The special assembly concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving everyone with smiles and heartfelt emotions.

Report on Interactive Assembly on Cultures of India

An engaging and informative interactive assembly on the theme Cultures of India was presented by the students of classes 12 C & D, to celebrate the rich diversity and unity of our nation. The assembly aimed to sensitize students to India’s cultural heritage while also integrating awareness about responsible citizenship.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a brief introduction highlighting India’s multicultural identity. The highlight of the assembly was a musical skit, including dance performances which depicted the harmony among different states, languages, and traditions of India, conveying the message of unity in diversity effectively. It was followed by a comprehensive video and speech presentation the students apprising the audience about our different harvest festivals.

To make the assembly more engaging, an interactive quiz was conducted. Students actively participated and answered questions related to Indian festivals, languages, monuments, and traditions. The quiz not only tested their knowledge but also enhanced their awareness in a fun and competitive manner.

An insightful teacher talk on consumer awareness was given by by Mr. Tarun Gautam . The teacher highlighted the importance of being informed consumers, understanding rights and responsibilities,.

The assembly concluded with a message reinforcing the idea that India’s diversity is its strength and that awareness, respect, and responsibility are essential for a progressive society.
