Report on Mind Activation Through Counselling (MATE)
As part of the AIIMS Hospital Mind Activation Through Counselling (MATE) Programme , The school participated in an orientation session with counsellors from 20 schools to strengthen structured, evidence-based emotional wellbeing support for students of Grades 6–8. The session focused on two workshops: “Unboxing Health & Well-Being,” covering physical, emotional and social health, the Sensory Model, Three Energy Zones and a Regulation Toolkit; and “Relationship with Self and Others,” which builds social health and healthy relationships. The activity-based approach highlighted practical ways to understand stress, the brain-body connection and emotional regulation, with the discussed workshops planned for delivery to Grades 6–8.
