Mr. Singh shared the meaning of a lesson plan, its importance and essential components. He stressed that a good lesson plan should be detailed enough to provide clear set of instructions for a student’s knowledge accusation. It should produce a specific learning outcome – whatever a teacher plans in the file must be executed in the class field. A well planned lesson will allow the teachers to decide equipment and tools  needed, in advance.

He focused on the innovative methodology of teaching. Teachers must be creative and adopt different tools to make their lessons interesting. This will also cater to the needs of different learners. Finally it is very important to assess the learning of the students. Along with this a teacher must assess herself also which will help her in professional growth.

On 7th October 2021, ASSOCHAM INDIA organized a web seminar on the topic “Blended learning – Right solution for Futuristic Education” which was attended by Ms. Merin Thomas, Mrs. Poonam Verma, Mrs. ShuchiMathur and Mrs. Neha Arora.

They all spoke aboutthe need of a serious intervention in terms of the approaches being used by the teachers while delivering a lesson.

According to them, Blended learningcan be a method of teaching that integrates technology and digital media with traditional instructor-led classroom activities, giving students more flexibility to customize their learning experiences.

According to the spokesperson, Manpreet Singh Manna, Blended learning can help to improve the inclusiveness of education, particularly due to its flexibility. He also focused on providing additional learning opportunities to students. He stated that teachers ought toprioritise the physical and mental wellbeing of learners and dedicatemore time for personal interaction with students.

Hence, it is believed that, blended learning will help learners to learn at their own pace and also inculcate the spirit of collaboration enabling them to work together and involve in class discussions. It will also drive them towards scientific accomplishment of their syllabus and enable them to create new knowledge.
