AI Tools for Teaching and Learning

A workshop on “AI Tools for Teaching and Learning” was conducted on 26th May 2026 by Mr. Keshav Dimri for the teaching staff. The objective of the workshop was to introduce educators to the effective use of Artificial Intelligence tools in the field of education and to enhance teaching-learning practices through technology.

During the session, Mr. Keshav Dimri explained the importance of AI in modern education and demonstrated various AI-based tools that can assist teachers in lesson planning, content creation, assessments, classroom engagement, and personalized learning. He also highlighted how AI tools can save time, improve productivity, and make learning more interactive and student-friendly.

The workshop included practical demonstrations and hands-on activities that enabled participants to explore the features and applications of different AI tools. Teachers actively participated in the session and gained valuable insights into integrating technology effectively in classrooms.

The session was highly informative, interactive, and enriching. It encouraged educators to adopt innovative teaching methods and utilize AI tools responsibly for better learning outcomes. The workshop concluded with an interactive question-answer session and feedback from the participants.

                                        Promoting Mental Health

A workshop on “Promoting Mental Health” was conducted on 25 May 2026 at Arwachin International School. The workshop was organised to spread awareness about the importance of mental health and emotional well-being among students and teachers. The session was conducted by renowned speaker Pankaj Munjal from G Ram publication.

The workshop began with a warm welcome by the school authorities. The speaker discussed various topics such as stress management, positive thinking, emotional balance, self-care, and the importance of communication in maintaining good mental health. He also explained how students can overcome anxiety, peer pressure, and academic stress through healthy habits and mindfulness activities.

Interactive activities, group discussions and practical exercises made the session highly engaging and informative. The speaker encouraged everyone to seek help whenever needed and reminded them that mental well-being is equally important as physical health.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks to the resource person for his valuable guidance and inspiring session. The event proved to be highly beneficial and created greater awareness about mental health among the participants.

Kaushal Bodh Activity – Carpentry

On 20 May 2026, the students of Class VIII participated in a Kaushal Bodh activity based on carpentry. The activity was organized to provide students with practical exposure to vocational skills and to help them understand the importance of manual work.

During the session, students learned basic carpentry skills such as measuring, marking, cutting, sanding, and assembling wooden pieces using simple tools. Under proper guidance, they worked enthusiastically and carefully to learn the skill. The activity helped them develop creativity, teamwork, patience, and problem-solving abilities.

The main objective of the activity was to make students aware of the dignity of labour and the value of skilled work. Through hands-on experience, students realized that every form of work deserves respect.

The activity was highly informative and enjoyable. Students actively participated and showed great interest in learning the craft. Overall, the Kaushal Bodh carpentry activity was a successful learning experience for all.

Annual Training Camp 2026 – NCC Achievements

The Annual Training Camp held at DG NCC, Delhi Cantt from 4 May to 14 May 2026 proved to be a remarkable learning, leadership, and achievement experience for the cadets of Arwachin International School. Cadets actively participated in a wide range of activities including drill, firing, debate, lecturette, sports competitions, physical training, cultural events, group discussions, yoga, nukkad natak, and various team-building exercises.The camp provided an excellent platform for cadets to enhance their confidence, discipline, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities under the guidance of NCC officers and instructors.

Interactive Assembly of Class 5B

14^th May,2026

Class 5B conducted an interactive and meaningful assembly featuring a variety of performances based on important themes and occasions.

The students began the assembly with a beautiful poem and dance performance on Environment Day. Through their graceful movements and thoughtful words, they spread awareness about the importance of protecting nature, planting trees, and keeping the Earth clean and green. The performance conveyed a strong message about environmental conservation.

This was followed by a soothing instrumental music presentation on Mother’s Day. The melodious tunes created a warm and emotional atmosphere, expressing love, gratitude, and respect for mothers.

The assembly also included an energetic and informative skit on International Yoga Day. The students highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental peace, and a healthy lifestyle. The skit encouraged everyone to include yoga in their daily routine.

Another major attraction of the assembly was a video presentation on Swami Vivekananda. The video showcased his inspiring life, teachings, and contributions to society. It motivated students to develop confidence, discipline, and a positive attitude towards life.

At the end of the assembly, the Coordinator, Mrs. Laxmi, appreciated the efforts of Class 5B for their teamwork and presentation. The assembly left a positive impact on the audience.

The students of Class 1B conducted an Interactive Assembly on the topic – ‘ My Family’ on May 13, 2026.

The assembly commenced with the Thought of the Day, inspiring everyone with positive values and motivation. This was followed by the presentation of the latest news headlines and an informative weather forecast, which enhanced the students’ awareness about current affairs and environmental conditions.

The highlight of the assembly was a meaningful play on the importance of family, where students beautifully portrayed the values of love, care, respect, and togetherness within a family. The students also recited a delightful rhyme, adding charm and joy to the presentation through their expressive actions and clear voices.

Adding more excitement to the assembly, the class presented a vibrant dance performance, which was appreciated by everyone for its energy and coordination.

The assembly concluded with an inspiring teacher’s talk, emphasizing the importance of family values, unity, and gratitude towards loved ones. Our respected Coordinator Ms. Natasha Sharma appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, applauding the confidence, creativity, and teamwork displayed throughout the assembly.

ANOTHER FEATHER ON THE CAP OF ARWACIANIANS

The students of Class XII of Arwachin International School achieved excellent results in the AISSCE Examination 2025-26, bringing pride and joy to the school community. Total 114 students appeared for the board examinations. Granth Maheshwari (Science stream) has performed remarkably by scoring 96.8%, followed by Abhinav Garg (Science stream) securing 96% and Bhavya Jain (Humanities stream) 95.8%. Keshav Gupta (Commerce stream) secured 93.2%.. 15 students have scored above 90%. 64 students have scored above 80% in aggregate.

                 INTELLOVATION 5.0 – ATL INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITION

Students of Arwachin International School participated with great zeal in Intellovation5.0, an ATL inter-school innovation competition organized by Bal Bhavan Public School on 11 May 2026. The event saw participation from 26 schools across Delhi NCR, making it a vibrant platform for young innovators to showcase their talent and creativity.

Students participated in various events. The competition proved to be an enriching learning experience for all participants. Students gained exposure to cutting-edge ideas from 26 schools, helping them benchmark their own innovations. They also learned teamwork and problem solving under a fixed time limit.

Intellovation 5.0 was a remarkable platform that encouraged students to, tinker and transform. The event inspired all participants to keep innovating for a better tomorrow. 

 

ARWACHIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL  MATE Counselors’ Conclave 

Arwachin International School proudly participated in the MATE Counselors’ Conclave held on 9 May 2026, organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences at the India Habitat Centre. The conclave marked the expansion of Project MATE (Mind Activation Through Education), an adolescent wellbeing initiative developed by the Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS New Delhi.

The school was honoured to be selected among 10 schools to present a poster presentation as part of the “Wellbeing Practices Gallery Walk”, showcasing the school’s initiatives and practices promoting student wellbeing. Our students, Iram (XII-D) and Kanav Sharma (XII-C), presented the poster confidently and received citations for their participation and valuable contribution during the event.

Special Educator Ms. Megha Sharma and School Counsellor Ms. Khushi represented the school at the conclave and attended insightful sessions focused on the emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing of students. The programme provided a valuable platform for educators and counsellors to collaborate, share experiences, and strengthen school wellbeing practices.

Mother’s Day Celebration

The Preparatory Wing of Arwachin International School celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm and joy on 8^th May 2026. The special occasion was dedicated to honouring the unconditional love, care, and sacrifices of mothers.

A variety of exciting events and competitions were organised for the mothers, including - Fireless Cooking, Best Out of Waste, Rangoli Making, Ramp Walk, and a Talent Show. The enthusiastic participation of the mothers added charm and excitement to the celebration. Their creativity, confidence, and talents were appreciated by everyone present.

The program became even more special when the children expressed their love and gratitude through heartfelt songs and energetic dance performances dedicated to their mothers. The beautiful performances filled the atmosphere with warmth, happiness, and emotions.

The celebration strengthened the bond between mothers and children and created many joyful memories for everyone. The event concluded with smiles, applause, and a sense of togetherness, making it a memorable day for all.

LEARNING BEYOND BOUNDARIES: CLASS IX & XI EXCURSION 

Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden organized an enriching educational trip on

8th May 2026 for the students of Class IX and XI to two prominent cultural and historical institutions of Delhi – Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. The students were accompanied by their respective class teachers, ensuring guidance and supervision throughout the day.

At Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya, the students explored the lives, contributions, and legacies of India’s Prime Ministers. Through interactive exhibits, multimedia presentations, and archival displays, they gained valuable insights into the nation’s political history and leadership journey.

On the other side, students of  Class XI proceeded to the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, where they immersed themselves into the world of contemporary and modern Indian art. The museum’s diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and installations sparked curiosity and creativity among the young learners, encouraging them to appreciate art as a powerful medium of expression.

Class VIII B conducted a vibrant and engaging interactive assembly on the theme Yoga and Fitness on 7 May, 2026.The event began with an insightful speech delivered by Shivoham, who highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This was followed by , a graceful dance performance on “Adi Yogi”, and a lively self-composed rap song by  Harshil promoting fitness and healthy living.

 Students also presented an impactful nukkad  natak showcasing different yoga formations and spreading awareness about the importance of fitness and healthy life style. A beautiful yoga-inspired formation  symbolizing unity, balance, and teamwork added charm to the assembly, followed by an inspiring teacher’s talk explaining the message and values reflected through the formations.

 The assembly concluded with words of encouragement from the Principal, Mrs Bhatnagar and the Coordinator, Mrs. Grover, who congratulated the students and the class teacher for their dedicated efforts.

Mindsmart Conclave – Leadership Programme in Life Skills, Holistic Health & Wellbeing

Students of Classes XI from Arwachin International School participated in the Mindsmart Conclave held on 7^th May 2026, organized by Expressions India at National Bal Bhavan under The Adolescent Peer Educators Leadership Programme in Life Skills, Holistic Health & Wellbeing. The programme was attended by Special Educator Ms. Megha Sharma along with peer educators Anika (XI-B), Aahana Goyal (XI-B), Maurvi Vikas Bahuguna (XI-D), and Anushka (XI-D).

The conclave provided an enriching platform for students to interact, collaborate, and develop essential life skills through a variety of engaging activities and discussions. Students were divided into mixed groups comprising participants from different schools, which encouraged teamwork, inclusivity, and confidence-building. Each group actively participated in discussions and presentations on significant adolescent issues such as bullying, sleep hygiene, the influence of social media, parenting styles, emotional wellbeing, and healthy peer relationships.

Through group tasks, role plays, interactive sessions, and leadership activities, students enhanced their communication, cooperation, critical thinking, and leadership skills. The sessions also emphasized empathy, self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and the importance of maintaining mental and emotional wellbeing in today’s fast-changing world.

It encouraged students to become empathetic leaders and responsible peer educators while fostering self-awareness and emotional resilience. The school held its solemn Investiture Ceremony on May 7, 2026, to officially induct the new student council. The event commenced with Mrs. Bhatnagar conferring badges upon the elected leaders, led by the Wing Ambassadors, Vaani Kaushik (8B) and Rudra (8A). This was followed by the appointment of student heads for the Literary, Cultural, and Sports departments. A dedicated group of Discipline Incharges from both the Middle Wing and the Preparatory Wing were also pinned with their badges of office, signifying their commitment to maintaining the school's high standards.

Following the investiture, the Oath-Taking Ceremony took place where the council members pledged to serve the institution with integrity and dedication. The proceedings were enriched by an inspiring address from Mrs. Bhatnagar, who shared valuable insights on the essence of leadership.

Samvedna ’26 – Empowering Teachers for Early Mental Health Intervention

Arwachin International School participated in Samvedna ’26, a Gatekeeper Training Programme held on 6^th May 2026, which focused on youth mental health. The programme was conducted under the aegis of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) as part of a multi-state implementation research project on suicide risk reduction and mental wellbeing among school and college-going students. The training was attended by Principal Ms. Ruchira Bhatnagar, Mrs. Priya Grover, Ms. Megha Sharma, and Ms. Khushi.

The programme aimed to equip educators with the skills required for the early identification of warning signs of psychological distress among students. The sessions focused on providing initial psychological support, understanding emotional and behavioural indicators, and facilitating timely referrals for professional intervention whenever required. The training also emphasized the importance of creating a safe, empathetic, and supportive school environment for adolescents.

The programme served as a valuable platform for educators to reflect on the growing importance of mental health awareness in schools and the role of teachers in supporting students’ emotional wellbeing. It reinforced the need for sensitivity, timely support, and collaborative efforts in promoting a positive and caring learning environment.

Story Telling and Debate Competition

Class 3-4 and Class 5 (Debate)

“ Stories give wings to our imagination and take us beyond the boundaries of the physical world.”

A competition is the best way to build the confidence of a student. Keeping this in mind a ‘Story Telling competition’ was conducted for grades 3, 4 and Debate competition for class 5 at Arwachin International School on 6^th May 2026. The young enthusiastic story tellers with their beautiful props came forth with their wonderful tales. The young minds got an opportunity to get evolved with various valuable morals, which also ignited their creative skills. The stories were judged on the basis of expression, confidence, diction and presentation skills of the children by Mrs Prabhjyot Kaur and Mrs Priya Pathak. The little wonders left no stone unturned in presenting their stories.

Special Assembly by Class 1C

A special assembly was conducted by Class 1C on 5th May 2026 on the theme Mother’s Day. The assembly was organized to celebrate the unconditional love, care and sacrifices of mothers.

The children expressed their love and affection for their mothers through a heartwarming skit, beautiful poems and energetic dance performances. Their confidence, enthusiasm and innocent expressions made the presentation even more special and memorable.

All the students performed gracefully on the stage and showcased their talent with great excitement. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances and appreciated the efforts of the children.

The presence of Principal Ma’am Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar added grace to the occasion. She appreciated the students for their wonderful performances and encouraged them to always respect and love their mothers.

The special assembly concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving everyone with smiles and heartfelt emotions.

Report on Interactive Assembly on Cultures of India

An engaging and informative interactive assembly on the theme Cultures of India was presented by the students of classes 12 C & D, to celebrate the rich diversity and unity of our nation. The assembly aimed to sensitize students to India’s cultural heritage while also integrating awareness about responsible citizenship.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a brief introduction highlighting India’s multicultural identity. The highlight of the assembly was a musical skit, including dance performances which depicted the harmony among different states, languages, and traditions of India, conveying the message of unity in diversity effectively. It was followed by a comprehensive video and speech presentation the students apprising the audience about our different harvest festivals.

To make the assembly more engaging, an interactive quiz was conducted. Students actively participated and answered questions related to Indian festivals, languages, monuments, and traditions. The quiz not only tested their knowledge but also enhanced their awareness in a fun and competitive manner.

An insightful teacher talk on consumer awareness was given by by Mr. Tarun Gautam . The teacher highlighted the importance of being informed consumers, understanding rights and responsibilities,.

The assembly concluded with a message reinforcing the idea that India’s diversity is its strength and that awareness, respect, and responsibility are essential for a progressive society.

Report on Class Assembly Conducted by Classes XII A and XII B

The students of classes XII A and XII B of Arwachin International School conducted a meaningful and impactful interactive assembly on the topic “Drug Awareness and Mental Health.” The assembly aimed to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of maintaining good mental health in today’s stressful academic environment.

The assembly began with a powerful skit based on mental health challenges faced by students, especially peer pressure and exam stress related to competitive exams like JEE and school academics. The skit also addressed how such pressure can sometimes lead students toward substance abuse. The performance was presented by students of both classes. Their acting successfully conveyed the emotional struggles students experience and emphasized the importance of seeking help and support

The assembly also included a graceful dance/yoga performance, which added energy and emotion to the presentation. This was followed by a calming yoga performance by students, demonstrating how yoga and mindfulness can help reduce stress and improve mental well-being.

A powerful and informative speech was delivered by two students. They spoke confidently about the causes and consequences of drug addiction and the growing mental health concerns among students. Their words encouraged students to make healthy choices and support one another.

Later, an informational video highlighting the issue of drug abuse caused by peer pressure was presented. The video effectively portrayed how young individuals can fall into harmful habits due to social influence and emotional stress, leaving the audience with an important message about awareness and prevention.

The assembly concluded with inspiring words from the respected Principal, Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar. She guided students on how to tackle mental health problems positively and encouraged everyone to communicate openly, stay confident, and seek support from friends and family during difficult times.

Overall, the assembly was highly informative, engaging, and thought-provoking. It successfully spread awareness about mental health and substance abuse while motivating students to adopt a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
