              NCC ‘B’ Certificate Examination – 2026

The NCC cadets of Arwachin International School, Unit 5DBN, successfully appeared for the NCC ‘B’ Certificate Examination held on 14 March 2026 (Practical) and 15 March 2026 (Written) at Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Kashmere Gate, Delhi.

During the practical examination, the cadets demonstrated their skills and training in various important NCC subjects including Drill (DST), .22 Rifle Assembling and Reassembling, Field Craft & Battle Craft, Communication, and Map Reading. The cadets performed with great confidence, discipline, and enthusiasm, reflecting the quality of training and dedication.

The cadets were guided and accompanied by their NCC Officer, Lt. Dinesh Chand Papnay, who motivated and supported them throughout the examination process.

The NCC ‘B’ Certificate provides valuable benefits such as preference in defence services and additional weightage in various government job examinations. It also helps students during higher education admissions, including opportunities through NCC quota in competitive exams like CUET.

The participation of the cadets in the ‘B’ Certificate Examination marks an important milestone in their NCC journey and contributes towards building leadership, discipline, and a spirit of patriotism among the youth.

    Scholarship for SGFI National Netball

    It is a moment of immense pride for Arwachin International School  as  13 of our exceptionally talented student-athletes have been officially recognized by the Delhi Government for their outstanding performance in the SGFI National Games 2023-24. In a grand gesture of support for budding sports talent, the government has awarded each of these 13 players a merit-based scholarship of ₹20,000.

    ​This recognition is a testament to the relentless hard work, discipline, and perseverance shown by our students on the national stage. We extend our heartiest congratulations to all the scholarship recipients; whose dedication has not only brought glory to the institution but has also set a benchmark for their peers

      Interactive Assembly

      An interactive assembly on the theme Women’s Day was conducted by the students of UKG-A on 10th March 2026. The assembly began with the Thought of the Day, where children shared a meaningful message about respecting and appreciating women in our lives. This was followed by a News Update, presented in simple and clear words by the young learners.

      The children then recited a beautiful poem on “Nari Shakti”, highlighting the strength and importance of women in society. After the poem, the girls performed a graceful dance dedicated to all the wonderful girls/women, spreading the message that every girl is special and equal.

      Towards the end of the assembly, the students presented a closing performance showing different professions that women can do, such as doctor, teacher, police officer, and many more. Through this act, the children beautifully conveyed that women are capable of achieving great success in every field.

      The assembly was highly appreciated by everyone for the wonderful efforts of the children. The event became even more special as our respected Principal Ma’am graced the assembly with her presence and encouraged the students for their enthusiastic participation.

      Overall, it was a joyful and meaningful assembly that celebrated the spirit and strength of women.

                            Report on Educational Trip to Fire station

        An educational trip to Fire station was organized on 7th March 2026, for the tiny tots of pre-primary.

        As the children arrived at the fire station, they were greeted by friendly firefighters in their uniforms. The kids were thrilled to see the firefighters up close and learn about their gear, including helmets, jackets, and boots. They got to explore the fire trucks and were amazed to see the equipments like hoses, sirens, ladders, etc. The firefighters explained the purpose of each tool, and the children listened with interest.

        This trip helped our little ones to understand the value of community helpers. It was a fantastic way to bring their learning to life and create lasting memories. We're grateful to the firefighters for making this experience so special for our pre-primary children.

          Hindi  Story Telling Competition

          A storytelling competition for Pre-Primary children was conducted on 6th of March, 2026. The event was full of enthusiasm and creativity as the little participants confidently narrated their stories with expressions and actions. The theme of the competition for LKG was ‘Animals and Birds’ and for UKG ‘Classical Moral Stories’. Our little story tellers had to triumph three auditions before getting selected for the finals. They did an excellent job handling the props while telling the stories without missing any detail on the stage.

          The occasion was graced with the presence of the honourable Principal, Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar and the Coordinator, Ms. Natasha Sharma. The judges were, Mrs. Sheetal Yadav and Mrs. Gayatri. The children were appreciated for their wonderful efforts. They were encouraged to keep improving their speaking skills. The teachers were also appreciated for their guidance and support. The competition was not only entertaining but also educational as it helped the children to learn the important life values like honesty, kindness, sharing not to be greedy.

          Overall, the competition was a great success and provided a beautiful platform for the children to express themselves and develop confidence and overcome their stage fright.

                                     Educational Trip to the Fire Station      Class- 1 & 2

            On 5th March 2026, our school has organized an educational trip for the students of Class 1 and 2 to Fire Station. The students learned about fire safety and how to extinguish fire. The firefighters warmly welcomed the children and explained the causes of fire and ways to prevent accidents. They showed the students the fire engines and safety equipment such as helmets, hoses, and fire extinguishers. The firefighters also gave a live demonstration on how to use a fire extinguisher .They demonstrated different types of water flow from the fire hose. The visit was both exciting and informative, and the students returned to school with valuable knowledge about staying safe during fire emergencies.

              The cadets of Arwachin International School NCC Unit 5DBN proudly participated in the Anuvrat Marathon held on 1 March 2026 with the inspiring theme “Youth Empowerment and Drug Free India.”

              The cadets, along with their NCC Officer Lt. Dinesh Chand Papnay, successfully completed a 5 km run, demonstrating great enthusiasm, fitness, and discipline. Running together, they spread the important message of a healthy lifestyle and a drug-free society.

              The participation reflected the true spirit of NCC – Unity and Discipline, inspiring young minds to stay fit and responsible citizens of the nation.
