IMPORTANCE OF GRATITUDE

It is truly said “Gratitude paints little smiley faces on everything it touches”.

An online session on the topic –IMPORTANCE OF GRATITUDEconducted by CBSE COE Delhi East on May 25, 2021, was attended by Ms. VarshaPanthri. The resource person

of the day was Mrs. Vibha Khosla principal, Shri Ram GlobalSchool. The resource person highlighted the following points in the session:

• What is gratitude?
• Importance of gratitude
• Why do we need gratitude in life?
• Benefits of gratitude (Intrapersonal, interpersonal, social, workplace benefits)

At the end, the resource person asked the participants to write three things that they aregrateful forand suggested an activity of‘gratitude letter’that can be used in the class. Thiswas followed by a questionnaire. Overall, it was a valuable and wonderful
