SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON GANDHI JAYANTI AND DUSSEHRA

The special assembly on Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra was conducted for the students of Classes 3 to 7 on 29^th September 2025, with great enthusiasm and reverence. They also paid tributes  Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri.  The program aimed to instill the values of truth, non-violence, and the triumph of good over evil in young minds.

The assembly began with the morning prayer. Students presented speeches and skit on the life and principles of Gandhi, emphasizing his role in India’s freedom struggle and his ideals of simplicity, cleanliness, and self-reliance. A group of students also presented a melodious song on peace and harmony which were the principles of both the great leaders.

The second part of the assembly was dedicated to Dussehra celebrations. Students presented a short enactment from the Ramayana, depicting the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. A beautiful dance was also presented.

The assembly concluded with a motivational address by the Principal, who reminded the students to follow Gandhiji’s values in daily life and to always choose truth and righteousness, just as Lord Rama did.

Overall, the assembly was informative, engaging, and inspiring. It not only paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi but also reinforced cultural and moral values through the celebration of Dussehra.
