Japanese Cultural Exchange
Programme in Delhi
The
Japan Foundation, New Delhi in cooperation with the Japan Council of Local
Authorities for International Relations, Singapore (J.Clair) organized a
Cultural Exchange Promotional Programme on 16th January,2019 at the
Japan Foundation, New Delhi.
The
main objective of this program was to create an opportunity for Japanese local
government officials and members of the Japanese Language School Teacher’s
Association (JALSTA) to exchange opinions about their perceptions of each other’s
country, thereby promoting mutual understanding between the participants of
both the countries.
The
main topics of exchange and discussion between Japanese and Indian participants
were:

The
Education System(compulsory education, tertiary education etc.)
·
International
Exchange Programmes in Japanese Local Governments and Indian Schools
·
Japan
and India’s perspective of each other’s country (data comparison, cultural
differences etc.)
Our
Japanese language teacher, Mrs. Jain successfully presented a speech on the
Education System of India in this programme.
This
programme will strengthen the cultural bond between both countries and open
further mutual avenues.
