JALSTA JAPANESE LANGUAGE WORKSHOP

On 14th July, 2018 our Japanese teachers Mrs. Jain and Mrs. Kaur attended a workshop at the Japan Foundation, New Delhi.

The objective of this workshop was to guide teachers about Japanese class nurturing 21st century skills. Our resource person Mrs. Jain shared her experience about her recent visit to Thailand for Thai International Japanese Camp”.

She shared her experience about the Japanese class nurturing 21st century skills such as:

·        Critical thinking

·        Collaboration

·        Communication

·        Creativity

The Japanese language adviser Ms. Yuiko Wakana also enlightened us on the same.

As it was enriching experience. We will look forward for such workshops in future as well.

    Arwachinians Participate in Feedback Session of the 
    Thai Japanese Language Camp 2018

    Mrs. Jain, our Japanese Language Teacher, along with 10 students of Japanese of Class 8 and Arnav Gupta of Class 12 , the participant of Thai Camp, attended the feedback session on 13th July 2018 at the Japan Foundation, New Delhi. The session was mainly based on what the students, who attended the camp had learned and how they had planned to implement it at their level.

    The session inaugurated with the speech by Mr. Miyamoto, the Director of The Japan Foundation, New Delhi  who congratulated the Indian participants for successfully participating in the camp. Followed by the speech, the students got the opportunity to interact with the Director of the Tokyo University India Office, who encouraged the students to learn Japanese Language and enlightened all with the information about higher studies in Japan. The participant students shared their experiences and motivated  other students to attend such camps in future.

     The session was indeed very informative and enjoyable.

      VISIT BY JAPANESE VOLUNTEERS

      On 13th July, 2018 some Japanese volunteers visited Arwachin International School from JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Volunteer Program in India to observe the Japanese language classes.

      The objective of this visit was to learn that how Japanese language is taught in Indian schools.

      The visitors observed and were ecstatic to learn various teaching techniques and activities which are conducted in our school.

      The students were full of enthusiasm and interacted very well with the Japanese volunteers. They felt happy and motivated.
