VISIT TO KIRAN NADAR MUSEUM OF ART

On 2nd April, students and teachers of Arwachin International School visited Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in Noida. The aim of the visit was to attend the art and craft workshop and also to witness the collection of works of five Bengali artists. It was a thrilling experience for the students and the teachers as well. The students witnessed the art depicting the stories from Bengal during Partition and   famine. The artists beautifully depicted the life of Bengal through paintings and sculptures. Some of the artists include Ganesh Haloi, Ganesh Pyne and Mira.  The students were made aware of the grey toned painting which depicted the misery during famine. The artists had tried to portray their hazy childhood memories using sketches. The whole collection threw light on human life and its association with their surroundings. The workshop ended with students engaging in Tile painting. They took inspiration from the gallery and nature. It was completely an enriching experience.
