Arwachinians Shine in “Melange”

An Interschool Language Competition

A team of 10 Japanese language students along with their Japanese language teachers, Mrs. Vandana Jain and Mrs. Charandeep Kaur participated in an online Interschool competition, “MELANGE” which was organized by Birla Vidhya Niketan, Saket on 29^th January, 2021.

Our students took part in all the events with great enthusiasm and displayed their Japanese language and theatrical skills. They bagged the first position in storytelling, second position in Wonderful Japan competition and third in Kosupure.

Our special thanks to the guests, Mr. Noguchi, Director, JFND and Ms. Imoto, Japanese language advisor, The Japan Foundation, New Delhi. They praised the efforts and hard work of the students and congratulated them for their brilliant performance. Mr. Noguchi guided the students about Japanese gestures, speed and clarity of speech, while speaking.

NELTAS ECAT 2019-20 GRAND FINALE RESULT

The students of Arwachin International School participated in the NELTAS ECAT – 9^th International English Language Competition 2019-20.

We are extremely glad to announce its result and congratulate all the students on their excellent performance.

Inter-school Competition at Universal public School

On 20th January’21, Universal Public School, Preet Vihar, organized an Inter-school competition. There were various categories where the students could showcase their talent. Many the schools from all over Delhi participated in the same. Arwachinians participated in the following events-  Kalakriti, Doha Vachan, Poetic Resonance, Fable Funda (Story Telling), Artistr (Poster Making), Legend Rebooted (Role Play), India on my platter (Flameless Cooking), Rap the Feet (Folk Dance), Mile Sur Mera Tumahara (Solo Singing) and Voice your Opinion (Declamation).
It gives us immense pleasure to announce that our participants – Shreshtha from class 8D bagged 3rd position in Voice your Opinion (Declamation) and  Anushka Garg from class 5B bagged 3rd postion in India on my platter (Flameless Cooking) and made us proud. Many congratulations to all the participants and the winners. 

Arwachin International School reopened and welcomed its students of classes 10 and 12 post Covid on January 18, 2021, taking all the safety measures and following the SOPs and guidelines of Ministry of Education and Government of Delhi.
The students seemed delighted to join the school after such a long period.The School did not leave any stone unturned in providing best possible educational and emotional support to the students ensuring parents that their wards are in safe hands wherein due attention and care is being taken in enforcing preventive/ precautionary measures such as:

-Thermal Screening of students, teachers and other staff at entry points. No sick person is permitted to attend the school.

-Strict adherence to social distancing norms.

-Installation of wash basins with soap and sanitizer at various points including entry an exit.
-Enforcing regular washing of hands with soap and water and use of Alcohol based hand sanitizers.

- Periodic disinfection of school premises.

- Maintenance of high standard of hygiene and sanitation in school premises.

- Institution of regular cleaning and decontamination procedure.

-All students, staff and teachers wear gloves and masks and students bring their own  lunch box and  water bottle which they are not allowed to share.

Arwachin International School is committed to its students not only for academic excellence but their overall well being at all times.

All the students got the participation certificates. Strum-N-Drum students of class 9 and 10 bagged the consolation prizes. Nabaha of class UKG-B secured the first position in Unboxing Hope, Rhyme Recitation category.

ANANTA 2021

An online inter-school competition, ANANTA 2021, was organised by Bharti Public School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi. The series of the competition started from 11th January and ended on 14 January. Many students from Arwachin International School also participated in the event with great zeal. The following were the participants of the event:

From the above mentioned participants, the following students brought accolades to school by bagging various positions in different events:

Himaghn Gupta, a student of class 8D secured First position in one of the events of quiz, namely, Wise Wizards (quiz) which was held on 14 January. The quiz was based on Mathematics and Science. He also won a certificate and cash prize.

Charan Kaur of class 9A bagged 

Second position in the competition named ‘Fruit and Vegetable Carving’ under the event ‘Magic Touch’. She also won a certificate and cash prize.

The participants were judged on the basis of relevance to the theme, originality and creativity, innovation, and overall Presentation. All the participants were facilitated with E-certificates.. The competition presented yet another opportunity for all the participants to showcase and enhance their talent.

ARWACHIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

                             KHOJ 2020 “World 2.0- The New Normal”

                                  (Virtual Inter School Competition)

          The students of Arwachin International School participated

        in a Virtual Inter School Competition ‘KHOJ 2020’ organized by

       ‘Indirapuram Public Schools’ from 10^th January to 13^th January     

       2021.

            We are proud to announce that the Arwachinians secured

         Positions in two categories.

      Nabaha of class UKG Bluebell bagged the first position in the

     Recitation Competition (Unboxing Hope). She recited the rhyme

     as per the given theme ‘Hope for a new beautiful World’.  

    The students of classes 9^th to 12^th Saksham Arora, Divyam Taneja

     Kartikeya Narang and Bhaanvi Bhutani also participated in

        the   event ‘Strum-n-Drum’ (Music Jamming) and got

      Consolation Prize. The theme of the competition was

       ‘Lokaah Samastah Sukhina Bhavantu’.

      The event gave an opportunity to the participants to explore

     and outshine in various fields.

FOUNDER’S DAY 2021

Arwachin International School celebrated its Founder’s Day on 12th January, to mark the birth anniversary of the founder of the school, Shri Shriniwas Sharma - a leader, visionary, and mentor, whose ideals paved the way for the exponential growth of the school, since the year 2002 - when it was established.
The event started with a beautiful performance by Aryansh Nigam of class 8-C, who sang the Saraswati Vandana. Next, the Head Girl,  Deepal Yadav and the Head Boy, Soumya Sharma gave a speech on the inspirational life of Bauji, after which Keyur Sharma of class 11-B exhibited the collective pride of our students of being a part of the Arwachin family.
Two alumni of our school - Dhruv Pachisia(Pursuing MBBS, AIIMS) and Garima Aggarwal (Scientist,ISRO) shared their experiences at Arwachin, and how their time here has shaped them. Succeeding their messages, the students of class 9 presented an invigorating dance, which was the last performance of the day.
Towards the end of the program, the director of the school - Mr. Arun Sharma addressed the viewers, with instances from the life of Bauji and how his life has been a source of inspiration for him and numerous others. 
The event ended with a motivational speech by the principal, Mrs. Swapna Nair, who also inaugurated the Online Carnival, organized by the school on this occasion to cherish our brave hearts and enjoy.
