The programme was meticulously presented by the
children of LKG and UKG. It was a compassion journey amidst the characters and
heart touching scenes intertwined into a dramatically awe-inspiring play, full
of concerto and melody. It was conceived by the Principal, Mrs. Nair, the theme song was written
by Mrs. Pandit and sung by
Mr. Sagar and recorded in house.
The guests and the parents were greeted with a foot
tapping welcome song and the programme began with the enactment of the song,
‘Prem se Humko Jeene do”. Where it
was shown that the animals and birds plead to the Humans to be kind to them and
not to take away their home by recklessly cutting down the trees in order to
make their own houses. Next was a very heart touching dance on the plight of
the trees, where the trees shared their pain on being cut, through the song, “Naa Kato Mujhe Dhukta Hai”. It was
immediately complemented by a fastidious dance on the song, “Tick – Tick…Plastic tick na Paye re..”
by the children expressing that the Earth is fantastic without plastic. It was
followed by another warning on the need to save water through an enticing dance
on a medley ’Jal na Jaye Jal and Ye
Paani..Zindgani..’. The presage and caution words did not stop here. Next was a
very enchanting and excellently presented Qawalli, ‘ Chalo Aaj Tumko
Samjahayein Pollution’on the pollution. The conclusion to the dance play was a
mesmerizing medley on, ‘Mere Nishaan.., Aao Hum Sab…. And Aam Ke Aam Honge…, ’.
The message was obvious and blatant that if we do not do anything today
we will surely repent and regret tomorrow.
On the whole, it was a beautiful message wonderfully
composed, excellently produced and enthusiastically expressed and executed by
the toddlers.
The school had conducted ‘Grand Parents’ week during the year 2018-19, and we were enthused
and got in high spirits with the support received from them as they exhibited their
excellence in various categories like cooking and storytelling etc. They too were felicitated on this occasion. The day was called with the Chief Guests note
of appreciation on the effort and hard work put in by the teachers and
students.
