Pre- primary: Variety Entertainment Programme, 2016 - 17

The Pre- Primary wing of Arwachin International held its Variety Entertainment Programme on 25-02-17. Mrs. Swarup illuminated the occasion with her presence as the Chief Guest and Mrs. Peter graced the occasion with her presence.

The students of LKG and UKG presented a very beautiful story on the theme - ‘Ultimate Happiness’.

The story line of the Variety, 2016-17 was very soul touching. It talked of how the very presence of a girl child brings happiness in the life of the family members. In the act, there was a boy, named ‘Rahul’, who was always sad and lonely. His family tried all they could to make him happy. They took him out of station and even to the Disney land. He could not find happiness even in the birthday party of his friend but one day, his parents’ friends guided them to adopt a child and convinced them that the child will surely start feeling happier as he will get a company. So the family went to an orphanage to adopt a child. The parents decided to let Rahul go and find a brother or a sister for himself rather than choosing one for him. Finally, Rahul came back to the Orphanage office holding the hand of his sister. Rahul seemed so happy after finding her that his happiness radiates everywhere and in every one. This is how he finally found his ‘ULTIMATE HAPPINESS- HIS SISTER’.

The programe ended with a tag line- ‘Let’s get together and save daughters.’

    CLASS 12 (2016-17)

Arwachin International School witnessed the farewell party hosted by the students of Class Eleven and dedicated to the batch of Class Twelve students. Students of Class XI organized a grand and gala show held at the school auditorium on 4th Feb’17. The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Honourable Director Mr. Arun Sharma and our respected Principal, Mrs.Gracy Peter which was followed by Saraswati Vandana. In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the auditorium of the school, the Director, Principal, students and teachers of the school together bid adieu to the outgoing students of 2017 batch.

The day started with great excitement and merriment, as all the Class Twelve students dressed up to their glamorous best arrived for their grand welcome; the boys looked dashing in their tuxedos and the girls, who never fail to put on a show, were draped in gorgeous saris going very well with the theme colour red and black . It was an incredible afternoon which was organised with the support and encouragement of our Principal, Mrs. Peter and the teachers. Each and everyone appreciated the efforts in organising the wonderful event. It was a proud moment for all the staff members present at the event to watch the different hues of the students who they have nurtured with great love and care. The students were also elated to perform in front of their teachers, as all their teachers right from nursery to class XII were present at the event. The enthusiastic students of class 11 honoured their seniors by presenting  gifts and special cards to each one of them with a few lines of memories shared with the Arwachin family making them nostalgic. It was followed by a short and sweet entertainment programme comprising music and dance performances.

Students reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed how difficult it was for them to go out of the portals of their alma mater. In a nostalgic speech, the school Head Girl and Head Boy, Sneha Aggarwal and Pancham Gupta along with other students remembered their time as school children, the various ups and down and failures and success and stressed on the importance of school life in shaping one’s destiny. They thanked the teachers for their endearing efforts in shaping up the destiny of a child and for being there when it mattered.

The Director and the Principal gifted each one of them with a memento for their contribution to the school and reminded them not to forget the values inculcated in them by their parents and teachers. They also wished them good luck for their Board exams and future as well. It was an incredible afternoon which ended with some dance and music along with cake cutting followed by lunch.

A lavish and sumptuous spread was laid as a part of the lunch which was enjoyed by one and all. All together, it was a day of fun, frolic, memories and nostalgia.
