      Republic Day Celebration

The 68th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Arwachin International School on 25th January 2017.  The programme began with the lighting of lamp by the Principal and the Director of the school.
The beautiful cultural programme began with students playing patriotic song with different musical instruments.

The audience reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. They together sang ‘Sare Jahan Se Acha’

The choir presented an energetic song “My Revolution”.   The whole school joined the choir and the song echoed in the surroundings. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland. Students also performed a dance on the song ‘It Happens Only in India’. They have shown the energy and rhythm which motivated all to clap and to enjoy the moments. Our country is really colourful and that colour and feeling of unity was evident in a song and dance performance on ‘Desh Rangeela’.  A solo song performance on ‘Nanna Munna Rahi Hun’ turned into a group performance when the audience sang along with the little singer.

India is known for its “Unity in Diversity” because people of many religions, castes, culture and tradition live together with unity. The students of Arwachin presented a Fashion Show on this theme. The programme ended with everyone singing the National Anthem together.

        Founder’s Day

Founder’s day is the most important day in the school calendar. It is the day when we remember the founder of the school, Shri Shri Niwasji, who was very fondly called bauji. He had the vision that led to the creation of Arwachin family.

Mr. Arun Sharma, our honourable director and Mrs. Peter, our respected Principal, graced the occasion on 12th January. The lighting of the lamp ushered auspiciousness and divinity in the air. The programme began with the video presentation on bauji that highlighted his philanthropic ways of life. The students dedicated different poems in the fond memory of bauji. The choir which sang the English song “See you again” mesmerized everyone. The young instrumentalists stole everybody’s heart by playing a melodious tune of the track “Pita se hai naam hamara”. The choir that sang “Madhuban khushboo deta hai” reminded us of bauji’s selfless service to the world. Finally the Arwachinian dancers offered their prayer to the Lord to bless the Arwachin family so the legacy that was left by bauji can be spurred onto new heights.

To conclude, Mr. Arun Sharma shared his bauji’s dream with the students. He shared how bauji never bowed down to the evils like corruption. IT was a moment of great pride when he told everyone that the first Indira Award of excellence in education was given to Arwachin, Balbir Nagar, which was a young sapling sown by none other than our bauji. Mrs. Peter fondly remembered him and thanked everyone who contributed towards the growth and success of Arwachin.
