India-Japan
Partnership Dialogue
On
Language
& University Channels for Students’ Career
The
Japanese language teachers, Mrs. Kanika
Tiwari and Mrs. Vandana Jain, attended a seminar organized by The Japan Foundation and MOSAI, on Tuesday,
April 26, 2016 at Kamala Devi Block, India International Centre, Max
Mueller Marg, New Delhi. The programme was chaired by Dr, Zeenat Khader, Joint Secretary
DPS Society, eminent personalities from the Embassy of Japan and Mr. Miyamoto
the President of Japan foundation, New Delhi.
The Agenda
of the seminar was to create and develop interest in Japan amongst Indian
students studying at senior secondary level and university level. Japanese
language learners have increased many folds in the recent years, with the High
Schools introducing Japanese as an optional foreign language. This seminar was
organized to acquaint the schools about the increasing number of career
opportunities coming up due to the Indo-Japan partnerships in trade, industry,
commerce, Science & Technology and other academic areas.
The
dialogue with educationists was to acquaint them about the best ways to strengthen
channels available to young Indian students who are motivated towards Japan and
guide them on realizing a bright career in the growing India-Japan partnership
environment.
It was a great opportunity for us to gather
information about career prospects in Japan and we wish to share it with our
students so that they can be benefitted and consider Japan as a potential place
to pursue higher education.
